The Nexus: Out of Character

Friends and frenemies, it's January! That means the holidays have passed, most of us are getting settled back in, and it's going to be time for another movie night. For a date and time I'm thinking Sunday the 17th at 9:30 pm Eastern (6:30 Pacific, 7:30 Mountain, 8:30 Central.) If this time really doesn't work for you, please feel free to comment. I'll see what I can do, but it can be difficult to organize this many people across that many timezones. As an aside, this is the Sunday before MLK Day in the US, which means some of us might have that Monday off.

As for the movie choices, there's Blaze's old recommendation of Terminator, Verity's OOC suggestion of The Wizard of Oz and my follow-up with Wicked (a Wizard of Oz musical.) If you'd like something a little different, I could also stream Shaun of the Dead: Zombies, romance, British humor. If you have a suggestion of your own go ahead and pitch. If you're super passionate for or against any of these movies, let me know either in the thread or in a PM. I'd rather not show something someone has objections to.

PS – We host this on Livestream, so if you'd like, go ahead and sign up with your character's name(s) or urls. If you want to attend as more than one character you'll just have to note it in your chat box posts, which shouldn't be an issue. When the day comes around I'll post a link to the stream here or in another OOC thread. If you know of any streaming programs that are better than Livestream I'd love to hear about them.
